A’Saffa Foods recently celebrated the Omani Women's Day on 17th of October 2019. Each year, this day of national significance is sincerely celebrated since it declaration as a special day for Omani women by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said at the Women's Symposium held in the year 2009. The ceremony, which was held at the company's head office in Muscat, included a diverse program that included a warm welcoming speech setting the tone for the event. The event then progressed to an interactive presentation highlighting the contributions of women in the sector and in the company in particular. Several Omani female employees were also felicitated to celebrate and honor their efforts in driving the growth and progress of the company. On the sidelines of the ceremony, and in appreciation of the role of female employees in contributing to the company’s overall progress, Eng Mohammed Suhail al Shanfari, CEO of the company, said: “We are immensely proud of the presence of females employees at our various divisions of the company and would like to thank them for their tireless effort and contributions to improve the level of performance of the company. It is their constant eagerness to give in their best that helps us improve our business further more, without them we would not have been able to reach the recognition of a leading company in our sector today. We believe that our comprehensive development would not be have been achieved without the resilience and hard work that our women employees have put. It is their innovative minds, empowered thought and hard work that go hand in hand in playing an active role to achieve growth and development in the society.” On this occasion, Inaam Sulaiman Al Taie, working in the Accountant department at A’Saffa, said: “We are very pleased with this ceremony, which highlights the contributions and dedication of Omani women.
